Project Overview of 10–15 T/H Dry Mortar Production Line in Sri Lanka
This project is designed with a capacity of 10–15 tons per hour, mainly used for producing tile adhesive, masonry mortar, and wall putty. The complete dry mortar production line includes a three-pass rotary sand dryer, bucket elevator, raw material storage silos, twin-shaft gravity-free mixer, automatic packing machine, and PLC control system. The plant features a compact structure and a high level of automation, making it suitable for small and medium-sized building material manufacturers. It can also be flexibly upgraded and expanded according to future production capacity requirements.
Anti-Corrosion Design of Dry Mortar Equipment for High Humidity and Coastal Salt Spray Environment
Considering Sri Lanka’s tropical high temperature, high humidity, and coastal salt spray environment, Tongding Machinery has implemented a targeted anti-corrosion design for the dry mortar production equipment. The entire steel structure is made of Q235 carbon steel and treated with epoxy zinc-rich primer and weather-resistant top coatings to significantly improve corrosion resistance. The electrical control system adopts IP55 protection level control cabinets to ensure stable operation in humid environments. Key components can be optionally made of galvanized steel or stainless steel to further extend equipment service life and ensure long-term stable operation of the production line.
Application of Energy-Saving Sand Drying System in Dry Mortar Production Line
This project adopts an efficient three-pass rotary sand drying system equipped with a natural gas burner, featuring stable combustion and high thermal efficiency. It effectively reduces the moisture content of the sand and improves the quality of the final mixing process. This system is especially suitable for dry mortar production lines handling high-moisture raw materials in tropical and rainy regions. In addition, the drying system has relatively low operating costs, helping customers achieve long-term energy-saving and cost-reduction goals.
Customized Layout Design and Automation Control System for Dry Mortar Production Plant
Based on the actual layout of the customer’s factory, Tongding Machinery optimized the overall dry mortar production line design by placing the wet sand storage system outdoors, which effectively frees up indoor workshop space and reduces dust accumulation. The entire production line adopts a PLC automatic control system, enabling fully automated operation of batching, mixing, conveying, and packing processes. This significantly reduces labor costs and improves production efficiency. The system is easy to operate and maintain, making it suitable for building material plants of different scales.
