The Screw Spent Grain Dewatering Machine is ideal for effectively dehydrating various materials, including beer spent grain, vinegar grain, and others. Our equipment can remove approximately 20% of the water content present in the material, resulting in a more efficient and streamlined process.
Working Principle
Our spent grain dewatering machine operates on the superposition compression principle and leverages a combination of components to achieve effective water separation. The machine consists of a feeding box, screw shaft, screen mesh, and tail cone that work in tandem to meet the dehydration goals. The material to be treated is uniformly conveyed to the feed bin of the screw extrusion dewatering machine using a tool such as a screw conveyor. The material is then filtered by the spiral blade and screen, with the water or juice flowing through the screen and collecting in the water tray located under the machine. The dehydrated finished material is subsequently taken up by the pipeline and output through the conveyor belt.
