Product Introduction
The fly ash rotary dryer is a type of industrial dryer for non-viscous, liquid material, also known as the three-layer drum dryer or three-return cylinder dryer. It was developed and manufactured based on the single cylinder dryer. TongDing company currently produces a mature technology three-cylinder dryer, which has shown excellent results through the drying of materials such as sand, fly ash, minerals, slag, and others.
Working Principle
The fly ash is first transported to a silo by a belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then delivered to the feed end of the fly ash dryer by the feeder of the silo. The feeding pipeline should be inclined at an angle greater than the natural inclination of the materials to facilitate the smooth flow of sand into the dryer. The rotating cylinder of the dryer is slightly inclined to the horizon, with the material being fed from the higher end and the heat carrier entering from the lower end, allowing for adverse contact between them. At times, they can be fed into the cylinder together.
As the cylinder rotates, the sand is carried to the lower side by gravity. In the process of moving forward, the wet raw material is roasted by the heat directly or indirectly, allowing for quick drying of the material. The final product is discharged by a belt conveyor or screw conveyor. A shoveling plate is installed in the fly ash dryer to facilitate the up and down movement of the material, enlarging the contact area between the airflow and materials, enhancing efficiency, and facilitating quick material movement.
The heat carrier used in the fly ash dryer is typically hot air or flue gas. After the drying process, a cyclone dust collector is required to capture any items in the airflow. To further reduce the dust load of the exhaust, a bag-type or wet-type dust collector should be used, and the waste gas should be discharged appropriately.
