Product Introduction
The hot-blast furnace is the first important component of corn dryers, and users can choose from various types such as coal-burning, fuel-burning, natural gas-burning, and bio-fuel burning furnaces. The main function of the furnace is to provide hot air as the drying medium for the dryer. The most crucial part of the corn dryer is the drying machine, which is primarily composed of air intakes and angular boxes. In the drying process, raw grains are first loaded into the drying container, and then the hot blast generated by the furnace enters the machine through the air intakes. The corn slowly flows from top to bottom by gravity, while the hot airflow passes through each layer of corn. During this process, heat is transferred from the hot air to the grain material, causing the moisture inside the material to evaporate into the air and be exhausted through the angular boxes. However, if the working temperature inside the dryer exceeds 150 degrees, or the temperature of the corn exceeds 60 degrees, the quality of the corn will be greatly affected. The corn is then cooled in the cooling section, and once the temperature reaches the grain storage temperature, it is discharged from the grain discharge section. This method significantly ensures the quality of the maize while also saving energy and reducing the breakage rate of corn to 3‰ or less.
Working Principle
The corn dryer is designed to utilize clean hot air as the heat medium to facilitate the drying process of grain. The interior of the dryer consists of angular ventilation boxes that are arranged in a staggered pattern. These angular boxes are filled with grains that flow downward through them. The hot air enters the intake angular box through the grain layer and then passes through the grain layer from top to bottom. Finally, the exhaust gas is discharged through the exhaust angular boxes.
