The Biomass Two-layer Continuous Coconut Shell Carbonization Plant is a specialized equipment designed for carbonization of various materials such as coconut shell, walnut shell, apricot shell, hemp pole, sawdust, rice husk, bamboo, eucalyptus, mushroom residue, medicine residue, furfural residue, coffee residue, palm shell, peanut shell, and sunflower seed shell. This carbonization machine operates under high-temperature conditions to efficiently carbonize the aforementioned materials.
The carbonization machine adopts advanced technology that facilitates recovery, purification, and circulating combustion of carbon monoxide, methane, ethane, and other combustible gases produced during carbonization. This method addresses the issue of environmental pollution caused by thick smoke generated by traditional carbonization furnaces used in carbonization projects. Additionally, it solves the heat energy problem required by the equipment, realizing full self-sufficiency and improving the continuity and economic viability of the equipment. By making full use of agricultural and forestry residues, waste can be converted into a valuable resource, contributing to environmental conservation efforts.
Working Principle
The Biomass Two-layer Continuous Drum Carbonization Machine is a professional equipment designed for continuous high-temperature heating and carbonization of biomass in the absence or presence of limited oxygen. It comprises a two-layer carbonization machine, preheat wood powder burner (or gasifier, natural gas burner), combustible gas purification device, external heating furnace of carbonization machine, feeding conveyor, cooling and carbon discharging machine, and control system.
In this process, biomass is transported into the inner drum via the conveyor and is preheated and dried to a temperature range of 200-250 ℃ using waste heat from the furnace. The outer drum has a combustible gas recovery pipeline installed at the end to fully utilize combustible gases such as carbon monoxide, methane, and ethane produced during carbonization. These gases are separated into wood tar, wood acid solution, water, and ash via the flue gas purification system, and the pure combustible gas is sent to the heating furnace outside the carbonization machine for full combustion and heating.
This creates a reciprocating cycle of heating, ensuring continuous production. Carbonization temperature is generally controlled between 700-800 ℃, and the carbonized products are discharged from the carbonization machine through water cooling. The preheating wood powder burner (or gasifier or natural gas burner) supplies the ignition source for the carbonization process.
